They even invite you to check in on their sustainability efforts by providing information regarding what they paid for their coffee, when and where they purchased it, and a number of other details. The first thing to do is to figure how to begin going about creating the basic shape. just create a new work plane however many inches in front of the original plane that I say to In this Instructable, We'll be going over how to use the Polyline/line tool, ellipse/circle tool, trim tool, extrude tool, loft tool, and chamfer tool in Autodesk 123D/Inventor. There are multiple ways to create a work plane in 123D. The only difference that will apply to this tutorial is the creation of work planes. Note: There are few differences between Inventor & 123D. But for now, here are the step by step instructions to getting the shell, arms, and gun box ready for 3D printing, and assembly. You are welcome to redesign the mechanics I have created(on a limited budget), which I will be posting in a later Instructable. After about four days of drawing, redrawing modeling and remodeling it(since there are no real references referring to the measurements of the turret), I have obtained a satisfactory result, while keeping in mind that I would eventually be printing it out and incorporating the mechanical workings I have made to replicate the actions of an actual turret from the game. And since then I've gotten some experience with Autodesk design software and now have the ability to continue on with this project. I have had a desire to make one of these undeniably adorable, military grade turrets since I've played Portal 2 a couple years ago. The turret itself is not copyright protected, but all of the credit for it's original design, and my inspiration for making this goes to Valve. The purpose of this Instructable is to provide a way for people to Create, 3D Print and/or Machine a version of the Turret from Portal 2 that will be incorporated with mechanical parts to redesign how the original Turret from Portal 2 works, while teaching them how to design objects, and use the software. Note: I only have access to the student version of Autodesk Inventor on this computer at the moment, so that is what I will be using to demonstrate this process and write out the steps, but Since I made it in 123D aswell, I will be posting both the Inventor files and Autodesk 123D files at the end of this Instructable. UI may be associated with certain comorbidities, including hypertension and depression, although these associations are not fully understood. The prevalence of UI is higher in women than in men 80 years of age or younger, but both men and women are affected almost equally after age 80. If you have a sharp pain in your side when urinating, then it may be because of kidney stones. The main way that doctors tell the difference between overflow incontinence and bladder stones is by the location of the pain – if you’re experiencing pain in your lower abdomen or pelvis, then it’s most likely an infection. Lastly, bladder stones can cause overflow incontinence and the need of going all the time. These are usually pretty easy to notice, as you’ll have a burning sensation when you urinate or feel like you have to go often – but can’t. When you get older your prostate starts to grow – and this can cause problems if the gland grows too much.Īn enlarged prostate means that the urinary tract doesn’t have enough room, so urine stays in your bladder until you urinate it out.Ī Bladder Infection Another common cause for overflowing incontinence is a bladder infection. The prostate gland sits near the bladder, and it’s where semen is created. There are a few different causes for your having to urinate over and over again – here’s a look at what the most common ones are.Īn Enlarged Prostate One of the more common causes of overflow incontinence is an enlargement in your prostate gland, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH for short. If you’re suffering from overflow incontinence, these are two tell-tale signs that you should look out for. You might also experience pain in your bladder or lower pelvic region when you go to the bathroom. You might have to go every hour or two, even if it’s just a small amount that you’re urinating. The main symptom for overflow incontinence is having to urinate again – and again, and again. Because of this, the excess urine remains until you empty your bladder later on. This is similar to what happens when you have overflow incontinence – your bladder fills with urine and can’t empty out completely. If you fill it up all the way and tie off the end, then press it into the ground, the water inside will stay there until you release it by untying the knot. It’s a common symptom of another condition – usually an enlarged prostate or bladder.īasically, overflow incontinence happens when the muscles in your urinary tract aren’t strong enough to fully empty your bladder. Overflow incontinence isn’t a condition of its own. This article will go over how to know if overflow incontinence is something you might have and what treatment options exist for this common condition. Overflow incontinence is when your bladder can’t empty all of its contents at once – so some urine stays in the bladder until it’s emptied later on. For one thing, White was constantly experimenting, teaming Shemp with Andy Clyde and later Tom Kennedy, and Joe Besser with "Hawthorne" (as radio personality Jim Hawthorne was billed), to name three examples. These shorts also make clear why it was so easy for Shemp to replace Curly, for Joe Besser to replace Shemp, and for Joe DeRita to replace Besser. Even before joining Columbia Studios, their brand of slapstick meshed almost perfectly with White's, and was even enhanced by his silent movie veteran's experience, and Columbia's sound effects department. The Stooges, on the other hand, were lucky. But it also forced some talented comedians into material that really wasn't suited to their particular screen persona. This interchangeability undoubtedly saved money, making it easy for an Andy Clyde short to be remade with, say, Shemp in the lead, and then again a few years later with Joe Besser, with stock footage from the earlier films further cutting costs. The better Columbia shorts, such as most of the two-reelers made by Buster Keaton and Chase in the late-1930s/early-'40s played to their strengths (while also adapting to White's style to some extent) but the majority of Columbia's shorts are definitely on the same comedy wavelength. Viewers may be surprised to see the same tried-and-true routines made famous by the Stooges performed by other Columbia comedy stars, sometimes word-for-word, gag-for-gag. Watching these other, less familiar solo comedies it's clear that department head Jules White pretty much expected all of his comics to fall into line with his particular brand of broad, sometimes violent slapstick rather than the other way around, regardless of each comedian's unique talents and screen personas. These shorts also help put the Stooges and their Columbia two-reelers into perspective. One sincerely hopes this release will help open the floodgates to even more releases, even if in manufactured-on-demand format. ![]() ![]() ![]() Some of these previously unavailable shorts are quite hilarious, others are dreadful, but for many they'll all be a revelation of sorts, hinting at the comedy gold mine Sony has been sitting on for decades yet which remains virtually unseen by anyone for more than half a century. Also included are solo shorts starring or featuring Shemp Howard, Joe Besser, and Joe DeRita, as well as three cartoons featuring animated renderings of the trio - in all 3,867 minutes of material, or more than 64 hours' worth of eye-poking lunacy. Brand-new is a three-disc offering of "Rare Treasures from the Columbia Pictures Vault." It includes two heretofore unreleased-to-DVD feature films, including their strangely obscure first starring vehicle. Included are all 190 two-reel comedies Columbia released during 1934-1959, packaged in eight two-disc volumes (three discs for Volume Eight). Mostly a repackaging of previously released two-reel comedies but featuring significant and very rarely screened obscurities, this 20-disc set's stats are staggering. While it doesn't include absolutely everything they did for Columbia Pictures, few will accuse Sony's The Three Stooges - The Ultimate Collection of false advertising. ![]() ![]() ![]() Pregnant women normally have lower CO 2 levels, but abnormally low values during a C-section might harm the baby.
